Alcohol ethoxylates are non-ionic surfactants which are synthesized by reacting alcohols with ethylene oxide. These compounds are general purpose, bio-degradable and find widespread utility as surfactants in washing and cleaning in detergent, personal care products, industrial cleaning agents and Agro-reasoned chemicals. These are useful in enhancing performance of cleaning products and are appreciated for their low irritating characteristics as well as their tolerance to the environment.
